USING CUE CARDS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ WRITING SKILLS

Abstract: The objectives of the research are to identify whether cue cards could improve students’ writing skills. This was carried out at SMK HUTAMA Bekasi. It conducted from July 2021 March 2022. subject students class X TKJ class. method Classroom Action Research and it in two cycles. In collecting data, researcher used interviews, observation, diaries, document, test. Having collected analyzed them both qualitative quantitative data. data were using interactive model; they reduction, display, verification. by descriptive statistics calculate mean scores pre-test, post-test 1, 2. results this study indicate that card technique can students' skills texts. From aftereffects discussion, reasoned review there an increment understudies' composing abilities average pre-test cycles 1 2 more revealing. score before learnt 62, according computation. After treatment, increased 74 (cycle 1), while post test 82 2).
